Model for future installation
I am so proud to have been a part of this monumental project with Portraits of Hope. It has taken us 2 years to plan, produce, execute and engineer this project which has been approved by the Department of Interiors at the Mall in Washington D.C. for a future public installation. This project is in partnership with the National Park Service, National Mall and Memorial Parks for an artwork exhibition commemorating the 250th anniversary of American Independence in 2026.
12+ years of devoted design and volunteer work with Portraits of Hope has shaped me as an artist and philanthropist; I cannot wait to continue my involvement with such an incredible non-profit. Working directly under co-founder Ed Massey’s wing has proven such an amazing opportunity which only deepened my love for fusing prototyping, engineering, and art.
Portraits of Hope is a non-profit organization that creates beatification projects to bring awareness to current issues such as homelessness, animal rights, senior citizen mental health and more. They have created over 100 projects in partnership with various organizations and companies to spread joy, educate younger generations and shed light on important political, ethical and global matters.
